SOLIDWORKS Training Made Easy: What’s Available and How to Use It

If you’re using SOLIDWORKS, whether you're brand new or just looking to sharpen your skills, there’s a good chance you already have access to a massive training library and don’t even know it.

It’s called MySolidWorks, and it’s built by the same folks who make the software. It's available 24/7 and packed with lessons, step-by-step learning paths, and even prep material for the official SOLIDWORKS certifications like CSWA, CSWP, and more. These resources are especially helpful for new users trying to build confidence or for companies that want to train up a team without spending thousands on classes.

Who Gets Access?

Here’s the simple version:

  • If you have a SOLIDWORKS Desktop license with an active subscription (maintenance plan), you have access.
  • If you’re using 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS, you also have access.

Log in with your SOLIDWORKS ID and you’ll see what's available. If you’re not sure what level of access you have or how to log in, just reach out. We’re happy to walk you through it.

Why It Matters

It’s flexible, always available, and a great resource to get your team moving in the right direction without needing to carve out full days for formal training sessions. Though we can help with those too when you're ready.

You’ll find:

  • Quick lessons you can knock out over a lunch break
  • Learning paths that walk you through full workflows like assemblies, drawings, surfacing, and simulation
  • Certification prep if you're aiming for official SOLIDWORKS credentials

Whether you’re in engineering, manufacturing, product design, or just trying to speed up quoting, there’s something in there for you.
