Technology at IMTS 2026 Keeps Production Moving

We are excited to share that 3DChimera was featured by the IMTS team in their recent article "Technology at IMTS 2026 Keeps Production Moving." From the article:

3DChimera (IMTS booth #237633) demonstrated that 3D printed production tooling can be stronger and more practical than it looks. Its Soft Jaws, made from glass-fiber-reinforced nylon filament, provide stiffness and strength approaching those of 3000 series aluminum while creating a nonmarring surface. An outsourced aluminum jaw may take five to 15 days, while 3DChimera can produce a printed version in two to three days. A shop with a suitable printer can make one from a supplied file the same day. The expertise lies in matching design, material, equipment, and print parameters to the application. (This video shows more of their display.)Ā
