Make porous, powder-bed 3D-printed parts water- and gas-tight with our professional dichtol® impregnation and sealing service.

dichtol® penetrates fine pores and leaks through capillary action, then cures inside the part to create a durable seal.

• 50 parts — $250

Just $5 per part. Choose the batch that accommodates the number of parts you are sending. Unused capacity is not refundable or transferable.

Compatible Parts

This service is intended for uncoated polymer parts produced using porous powder-bed processes, including:

• SLS
• MJF
• SAF
• Similar nylon powder-bed technologies

This service is not intended for FDM, SLA, resin, metal, painted, or previously coated parts without prior approval.

How It Works

1. Select your batch quantity and place your order.
2. We’ll contact you with shipping instructions.
3. Ship your clean, finished parts to 3DChimera.
4. We’ll treat the parts with dichtol®, allow them to cure, and return them to you.

Customers are responsible for shipping their parts to 3DChimera and for return shipping. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout.

Turnaround Time

Standard turnaround is 3–5 business days after we receive your parts (not including shipping).

Expedited service may be available upon request for an additional fee.

Part Requirements

• Maximum dimension: 6 inches per part
• Parts must be clean, dry, fully depowdered, and free of oil and debris
• Parts must not be painted, dyed, coated, or previously sealed
• Larger parts require a custom quote

Results depend on the material, porosity, geometry, wall thickness, and operating conditions. Certified leak, pressure, or immersion testing is not included.
